Analytics of student learning has the potential to positively impact various stakeholders in the educational environment and even reduce existing inequalities. Yet, much of the published research in this area focuses on factors like model quality or predictive accuracy usually ending here without considering the last step that needed to close the learning analytics loop. In my talk, I will show three examples of my recent work focusing on using the analytics to provide enhanced feedback - 1) what factors contribute to teachers using the predictive analytics dashboard, 2) how analysis of logs from nation-wide assessments can improve its future design and 3) development of a new Virtual Reality environment for microteaching powered by analytics to enhance student reflection.
