The good old days:
1969-2000: OU course material delivered to students during the night time 'Learning Zone'.

More recently:
2000: OU goes 'Primetime' BBC2 with single channel
Series e.g. Rough Science, James Mays’ Big ideas, Fossil Detectives.

2002:
OU goes 'Landmark' BBC1 e.g. Darwin and the Tree of Life, Life, Frozen Planet
