The OU Society of Entrepreneurs was formed early in 2008 to create a space where the diverse talents of the OU community could network easily with the business world. The formal launch took place on 8th May 2008 at the Walton Hall campus of the Open University, CMR15 at 18.00
Co-Pesidents Thuta Aung and Andy Burton were joined by Brigid Heywood (Pro Vice Chancellor, Research and Enterprise), Chris Dunkley (Director, MK Enterprise Hub), Colin Gray (Professor of Enterprise Development) and Rob Paton (Professor of Social Enterprise). They presented and discussed the vision and purpose of this important new initiative.
