Spaceflight analogs: Solar System exploration on planet Earth

Scientists and astronauts are preparing for future spaceflights that could include returning to the Moon, travelling to near-by asteroids, and landing on the planet Mars.  In this special lecture, NASA astronaut and planetary scientist Dr Stanley G. Love shares his experiences of NASA’s "analog" missions here on Earth, in remote locations from the deserts of Arizona to the polar icecap of Antarctica.  Hear how the simulated space missions are extending our knowledge of working in space and developing new scientific techniques that will prepare us for our return to the Moon and beyond.
