DIP is an Integrated Project under the European Commission's 6th Framework Programme with an overall budget of 16.3M euros. It started in January 2004 and runs for 3 years. The aim of the project is to use semantic web technology to automate or semi automate the main activities required to create software applications out of web services. Currently, DIP technology is being used to support eGovernment, eBanking and virtual internet provision. The overall objective is for DIP is that the results will enhance Intelligent Information Integration, Enterprise Application Integration and Ecommerce. This site contains webcasts of DIP project events and webcasts of related semantic web service events which may be useful for training and dissemination purposes.
