5th Annual Open Meeting Pt4

Educators, academic researchers and industry representatives are meeting at the Open University on Wednesday 2nd November to discuss the development of RoboFesta-UK,an exciting festival to help children learn about science, engineering, technology and mathematics through building and experimenting with robots. The presentations at the open meeting will focus on robotics as a vocation, and robotics for children with special educational needs. Guest speakers will include Noel Sharkey (University of Sheffield and "Robot Wars"), Geoff Pegman (R U Robots), Simon Steiner (Engineering Subject Centre), John Baruch (University of Bradford) and Sam Wane (University of Staffordshire).
