Ephorus has grown to become market leader with over 5,000 customers in 28 countries, 2.5 M Euros revenue, 32 staff.
Ephorus did this without any 'angels' or 'investors'. After starting the company I found that, although plagiarism detection seemed a good and simple idea, 'selling Ephorus' was extremely difficult for me. I learned that an innovative idea is not enough, what you need is marketing. In this presentation I will share with you how I built the required marketing and sales around the product. |
