This talk Declan will explore ways we can exercise as we age even if our life become sedentary for example if we are a wheelchair user. He will be discussing how sitting doesn’t mean we have to be sedentary.

Dr Declan Ryan is a senior lecturer at the University of Northampton . His role includes creating and delivering exercise and health related topics.  Declan's research interests focus on older adults’ physical activity and health status. This includes investigation of the influence of green spaces on population physical activity, wellbeing, and social prescription.
