Myth, Science, Nature, Life – an art practice

This event took place on 9th September 2010
My work explores the use of line and space to describe nature and the body – combining my interest in drawing, and how line can depict form, with the spatial presence and materiality of sculpture.
I am inspired by the connections and dichotomies between our contemporary understanding of the world through science particularly physics and quantum physics, and how our ancestors related to the world through narrative, ritual and the creation of mythologies.
What is perception? What is reality?
