From the award-winning Piranha text analytics tool to the Cobra Publication Management System used to track publications from the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility (home of the world’s fastest supercomputer for open science Summit).  The Computational Data Analytics group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory has spent the last 15 years working on text analytics system.  This presentation will provide a brief overview of their work with scientific publications.  From the struggles of data collection (open data vs closed), new PDF to Text research, automatic in text citation detection and more.
