The Open University Charter Day 2016

Students First: building a stronger OU together

This event took place on 26th April 2016 at 10:00am (09:00 GMT)
Berrill Lecture Theatre, The Open University, Walton Hall Campus, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom

Charter Day will kick off at 10am, with the Vice-Chancellor's Address in the Berrill Theatre. The Pro-Chancellor, Richard Gillingwater, will also share his perspective as Chair of Council. We then welcome Honorary Graduate, Alice Chigumira, as our guest speaker. The OU Teaching Awards (managed by The Learning and Teaching Centre) will follow, recognising those who consistently demonstrate that their work promotes and enhances the student experience, supports colleagues in promoting learning and teaching, and is underpinned by an ongoing commitment to professional development.
