I have studied computer science at FH-Karlsruhe and at the Eastern Michigan University (USA).

I worked for one year at the Fraunhofer institution for computer graphics (Darmstadt) in the EU-funded project WIDE on ontology-based information retrieval.

I am currently working on SWWS, a EU-funded research project on semantic web services. Here my research interests are in web service discovery based on semantic descriptions and semantic matchmaking using ontologies and automated reasoning techniques.
