Researcher at the chair of Informatik 5 (Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Matthias Jarke) at RWTH Aachen University and within the collaborative research center on "Media and cultural Communication" in Cologne (Germany) since March 2002. My current project within the collaborative research center is about "Capacity to act in digital social networks by visualization of multidimensional difficulty patterns".

Research interests include: Multimedia Information Systems for Communities, E-Learning, Multimedia Metadata Standards (e.g. MPEG-7/21, LOM), Retrieval and filtering Tools for Multimedia, Analysis & Visualization of Knowledge Creation Processes, etc.
